We love the bowl trend!

But it seems, we’re not the only ones! A quick scroll on Instagram will confirm the fact that the bowl trend is a real thing – with an abundance of smoothie and Buddha bowls uploaded every single day. And, we get it! There’s something comforting about cradling a bowl when eating, snuggled up on the couch. Or, maybe that’s just us?

Anyway! Here are our fave vegan and vego bowls which will keep you coming back for more – we can assure it!

Banana Bread Breakfast Bowl.

This smoothie bowl actually does taste like banana bread in a bowl and we can bet that it’ll soon become a favourite of yours. Filled with healthy fats and natural sweetness, this one is a winner (and, also highly Instagrammable!).

Vegetable Tortilla Stew.

If you haven’t tried tortilla soup before, prepare to have your taste buds tickled! This dish is perfect for those nights when you feel like Mexican, but also want a hug in a bowl. Plus, the cheesy tortilla croutons are seriously good.

Black Beluga Lentil, Sweet Potato + Coconut Stew.

This curry/stew hybrid delivers the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavours. It’s filled with nourishing whole foods and is great served with your choice of grain in order to soak up the creamy sauce. Yum!

Salted Kale with Chickpeas + Green Tahini.

A green salad filled with kale, herbs, chickpeas and dressed with a tahini drizzle – what more could you want?! This leafy salad is big on both flavour and nutritional value and you’ll literally be licking the bowl thanks to the green tahini dressing.

Sticky Spiced Pear Crumble Congee.

Forget your usual bowl of instant oats because this rice-based congee recipe is next level. And, it really is a great way to begin your day as it’s packed with a great balance of complex carbs and healthy fats. If you don’t have any rice on you, feel free to sub in oats instead.
