Tell us about what you do and why?

I started in clinical practice as a Naturopath and Nutritionist, and have been fortunate to move into Product Development and Regulatory Affairs for a leading Practitioner Only supplement company. Every day I read emerging research in the field of complementary medicine and nutrition, meet suppliers who provide industry insights and wisdom, and through my findings I get to formulate new products and educate practitioners! I also see patients and focus primarily on weight loss, autoimmunity, thyroid health, endocrine imbalance, mental health and digestive problems.

Why are you such a firm believer in the IQS philosophy?

I’ve witnessed the health outcomes for people who have poor nutrition, and I’ve also been fortunate to help people change their diets to achieve phenomenal health improvements. Food can be medicine, and what we consume vastly impacts our wellbeing. Quitting sugar isn’t just about reducing cravings or losing weight, it is about giving yourself the gift of health, and that is life-changing.

The IQS Team are coming for dinner. What are you cooking us?

Definitely a slow-cooked organic chicken mole, with cauliflower rice, fresh tomato salsa and a big dollop of guacamole. For dessert, I’d whip up a selection of soft cheeses and raw chocolate dipped strawberries.

Food has the ability to both hurt AND heal, but the best thing is, you can start to heal with your next bite!
