Ashley Cameron is a super passionate foodie and head of content at I Quit Sugar. When she’s not writing and editing, you can (most likely) find her at the beach enjoying some Sydney sunshine!

Tell us about what you do and why?

While health and wellness has always been a huge passion of mine, it wasn’t until I started working as a health and lifestyle writer that I realised my “hobby” had become so much more. After completing a certificate in nutrition, I decided to take things one step further and study to become a health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. It was an amazing experience and truly solidified my belief that food is medicine and taking a holistic view of our health is essential!

Why are you such a firm believer in the IQS philosophy?

These days it can be so easy to become overwhelmed with the abundance of health and wellness advice out there – every week there’s a new trend to try! But what I love about IQS is the simplicity of the message… eat real food and you’ll reap the rewards.

The IQS Team are coming for dinner. What are you cooking us?

My famous pork belly would definitely be on the menu (it’s become a bit of a joke in the IQS office how often I love to cook pork)! And for dessert, I’d whip up one of my sugar-free chocolate and peanut butter puddings. Yum!
