Tell us about what you do and why?
Cooking and enjoying divine food as well as growing my knowledge surrounding nutrition has always been my passion – so to be able to turn this into a career has been incredible! I studied Nutrition and Dietetics to further my knowledge and help others manage and prevent non-communicable disease.
Why are you such a firm believer in the IQS philosophy?
I was brought up on fruits, vegetables, good-quality meat and whole grains – no soft drink, sugary cereals or lollies – so this was all I knew! But at school, it suddenly dawned on me that not everyone ate the way my family did and it was this knowledge that initially sparked my interest in food and nutrition. I love the IQS philosophy because it’s simple, straightforward and the recipes are downright delicious. When you replace sugary, processed foods with whole foods, fruits, veggies, grains and meat, your body is going to thrive and amazing things can happen!
The IQS Team are coming for dinner. What are you cooking us?
A cheese platter to start, with an abundance of cheeses, nuts, crackers and dips! Followed by herb-crusted salmon fillets with greens for the main and my gluten and sugar-free chickpea brownies for dessert. Yum!
