Nut-Free Cacao Hemp Spread

Spread this nutrient-dense, protein-packed hemp butter on toast, add it to your smoothie bowls or dip fruit in it! We could just eat it by the spoonful...  

Servings: Makes 1 cup
Preparation: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hemp seeds.
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) coconut milk.
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder.
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) coconut oil.
  • 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup.
  • Sea salt, to taste.

Directions

1. Using a high-speed blender or stick blender, process all ingredients (except sea salt) until smooth. Scrape down the sides of your food processor periodically to ensure all ingredients are blended. Season with a pinch of sea salt and enjoy!
2. Store in an airtight jar or container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
