A glass of red with gut lovin' benefits? Your mum will love these gummies! Make them alcohol-free by substituting the wine for a cup of pureed blackberries.

Servings:

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons I Quit Sugar's Gut Lovin' Gelatin.
  • 1 cup (250ml) red wine.
  • 1/2 tablespoon rice malt syrup (optional).
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries).

Directions

1. Dissolve gelatin in 1/3 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to "bloom" and become gel-like.
2. Meanwhile, add red wine and rice malt syrup to a medium saucepan. Heat over a medium heat until syrup melts. Remove from the heat and stir through bloomed gelatin until dissolved and no lumps remain.
3. Pour red wine mixture into an ice cube tray. Add berries to each mould, then place in the fridge and refrigerate for an hour, or until set.
4. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
