Before Emily quit sugar, she was drinking more than 2L of soda every single day.

Caught in a vicious cycle of sugar addiction, she’d lost almost all motivation to get healthy. That’s was until she discovered the I Quit Sugar: 8-Week Program

I was addicted to – and dependent on – the sweet stuff.

I ate candy and ice cream every single day. And drank 60–80oz (1.8–2.4L) of soda.

I felt horrible, mentally and physically.

Yes, I knew sugar was bad – but I didn’t realise to what extent!

I knew that I was eating a lot of obvious sugars, but the hidden ones were quite a shock. Especially here in America – sugar is added to EVERYTHING. Even bacon!

The 8-Week Program forum was a godsend.

The first five days off sugar were brutal. I felt like I was in a fog.

But I found the Program’s online community so helpful. Whenever I asked a question or posted a discussion I received lots of feedback and answers – and very quickly!

I also found a lot of support on Instagram. I searched the IQS hashtags and found others doing the Program at the same time as me or who had done it in the past.

I lost 16.7lbs (7.6kg) and lost almost 8in (20cm) overall (so far!).

I feel amazing! Emotionally and physically I feel like a completely new woman.

My anxiety has decreased and I feel motivated to do things again. My skin looks a million bucks and I love trying all the new recipes.

My journey to health is now as simple as following the IQS mantra.

Like IQS founder Sarah, I don’t do well with restricting myself. If I don’t give myself any wiggle room I’m bound to crack.

The Program has taught me how to be gentle and kind to myself. I no longer feel like I need to strive for perfection. I just have to be me.
