This week we want you to try to eat out for two meals of the week (if you want to). Don’t fret, we haven’t abandoned you completely. We put together a handy Eating Out Guide to help you through.
Try and allocate two different meals to eating out for example breakfast and dinner.
We want you to tick off all of the following points this week when eating out:
• Order something that you would never usually order. We’re trying to get you out of your comfort zone a little so you’re able to try new things.
• Try a new cuisine. If you always go out for Japanese or Thai takeout, mix it up and try a new Greek or Italian restaurant.
• Ask questions. Don’t be shy, your waiter is there to answer any of your questions. If you’re not sure if something contains sugar, just ask. Rather than ask the chef to make it without, just order another dish. Simple..
It is absolutely normal for doubts to creep in when we embark on something new - weather that be from ourselves or from other people. Kate Holm talks us through how to deal with these thoughts as they come along.

Most of us can relate to the desire to improve our skin, whether it’s acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, pigmentation, dandruff, redness, flushing or... shh... wrinkles! Whilst getting all the perfect skincare, sunshine, and sleep can only do so much, the real place to look for skin salvation is the place we’d rather just forget about – the poo factory. When the gut is working optimally the skin has a glow that the best cream can’t match.
There are So. Many. Ways. the skin and the gut interact! Think of them as a pair - the internal and external linings of your body. Both are constantly coming into contact with the external environment, so there is a lot of communication re: how to deal with bad guys, absorb nutrients, and take the rubbish out.
Exercise that is sustainable and fits into your day is the key. We want to keep your body moving. It will help eliminate those toxins and will aide in your sugar-free journey.
Each week our international chef and author Sarah Glover will be hosting a live cookup where she will make an amazing meal to help entertain friends or just share with family. Click below to get the recipe and shopping list.
