How to reintroduce sweetness

The reason we wait until Week 6 before bringing back some sweetness is because by now, your body should be at a point where it can evaluate if it’s ready for sweetness, and how much it wants (not “needs”).

The first bit of the puzzle you’ll need to understand is the difference between sweeteners – they’re not all created equal! Now, let’s concentrate on the different fructose-free sweeteners that are available to you and how to separate the good from the downright bad.

What’s the best approach to reintroducing sweetness? Keep experimenting (just as we’ve been doing all along!). Slowly try some different types of sweetness and work out what is best for your body.

Reintroducing Sugars

After weeks of avoiding sugar and sweeteners, resetting our taste buds, and indulging in many delicious recipes. It is time to add a little sweetness into the program. This week Kate Holm explains how to reintroduce sugar into your weekly meal routine.

Let's get cooking!

Each day, we recommend you drink a glass of hot water and slice of lemon upon rising to alkalise your body and stimulate digestive enzymes.

Oh, and don't worry, we haven't forgotten the ingredients for Sunday night's dinner! We'll include these on the Week 7 Shopping List to ensure freshness.
