The reason we wait until Week 6 before bringing back some sweetness is because by now, your body should be at a point where it can evaluate if it’s ready for sweetness, and how much it wants (not “needs”).
The first bit of the puzzle you’ll need to understand is the difference between sweeteners – they’re not all created equal! Now, let’s concentrate on the different fructose-free sweeteners that are available to you and how to separate the good from the downright bad.
What’s the best approach to reintroducing sweetness? Keep experimenting (just as we’ve been doing all along!). Slowly try some different types of sweetness and work out what is best for your body.
