A note on fats

There are many mixed, mostly wrong, messages about fat. Many fats are vital. We need fats for immune health and digestion. They act as antioxidants and also get rid of heavy metals and toxins in our systems. Vitamins A, D, E, and K, the essential vitamins in vegetables, are soluble in fat only. We need fat to be nourished fully and to ensure our metabolisms are running correctly.

Read your weekend read to get the full facts on fat.
