But first, 3 benefits that will change your life:

Blood Sugar Regulation

One of the most well-known benefits of bitter melon is its potential to help regulate blood sugar levels, making it particularly valuable for individuals with diabetes or those at risk of developing the condition. Bitter melon contains compounds, such as charantin and polypeptide-p, that can mimic the effects of insulin, helping to lower blood glucose levels. Additionally, it may improve the body's sensitivity to insulin, allowing cells to better utilise glucose for energy. Several studies have suggested that bitter melon can be an effective addition to diabetes management when used in conjunction with other treatments and a balanced diet.

Antioxidant Properties

Bitter melon is rich in antioxidants, including vitamins C and A, as well as flavonoids and polyphenols. Antioxidants help neutralise harmful free radicals in the body, reducing oxidative stress and the risk of chronic diseases. By combating oxidative damage, bitter melon may contribute to better overall health and a reduced risk of conditions like heart disease and certain cancers.

Weight Management

Bitter melon may support weight management and the reduction of body fat. Some studies suggest that bitter melon extracts can help inhibit the formation and accumulation of fat cells. Additionally, its high fibre content can promote feelings of fullness and reduce appetite, potentially aiding in weight control. However, it's important to note that while bitter melon can be a valuable part of a weight management plan, it should be used in conjunction with a balanced diet and regular exercise for optimal results.

Bitter melon at least for me work , since we all (humans) are different in metabolism and reactions to medications. Bitter melons reduced my A1C from 6.5 to 6.
