60 ml full-fat milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
1 teaspoon butter
2 slices of sourdough bread
1 tablespoon full-fat natural yoghurt
1/4 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen
Whisk egg, milk and vanilla in a shallow dish.
Melt butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Dip each slice of sourdough bread in egg mixture one a at a time until each slice is soaked through. Drain excess egg mixture and add bread to pan. Cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden.
Serve with a dollop of yoghurt and mixed berries.
