The biscoff trend has seriously taken off, and best you believe we hoped on the trend! Biscoff biscuits and biscoff spreads are extremely high in sugar and you know we don’t go down that road, so we created this easy and delicious, low-sugar recipe that you are going to go crazy for! Biscoff flavour is famously known for the warm spices with deep caramel flavour and we have stuck to just that! The base of these squares is made with a spiced cookie that will get you thinking of Christmas time, you will taste hints of cinnamon, ginger and cloves while the caramel topping is made from maple syrup, once again bringing in all these delicious biscoff flavours.

Hi Trudy, thanks for your comment! For the cornstarch and water mixture, add it in after you’ve mixed in the cream, then stir thoroughly until it thickens, then remove it from heat. Happy baking!

The recipe sounds great but at what stage do you add the cornstarch and water mixture?
